We are prayerfully seeking our next leader for Student Ministry.

The primary responsibility of this position is to lead and disciple students in grades 6–12 through biblical teaching, relationships, outreach, leadership development, and partnership with parents and adult volunteers.

As we have continued through the search process, we have revised our job description and qualifications. We remain committed to strong biblical character, sound theology, a genuine calling to ministry, and a heart for discipling students. At the same time, we have broadened some qualifications so that education, previous ministry experience, and other credentials are considered alongside a candidate’s character, calling, leadership ability, and potential for growth.

We are seeking someone who:

• Loves Jesus and demonstrates Christlike character
• Has a genuine calling and passion for student ministry
• Can teach and communicate God’s Word effectively
• Values discipleship over simply creating programs
• Builds strong relationships with students, parents, and volunteers
• Is humble, teachable, and willing to grow
• Works well as part of the overall ministry team of the church

An ordained candidate who meets the qualifications of the position would serve as Student Pastor.

An otherwise qualified candidate who has not yet been ordained may be considered as Student Minister, with opportunities for pastoral development and the possibility of pursuing ordination in the future.
